I just had to post these pictures I took of my daughter tonight. She is so excited to dress up as Wonder Woman!

A few more shots of the village after the snow was gone.
Eventually the snow started to melt and we got to see the cobblestone streets that filled the village.

So Ava and I got all bundled up and decided to head out into the snow. Once the snow stopped falling it was ideal to take pictures, these are all from that first day.
After the new year, we packed up and moved to the south of France. We arrived late in the day to our new home in the beautiful little village of Lacoste in Provence. We woke up the next day to find 6 to 8 inches of snow. The locals kept telling us how lucky we were because it never snows in Lacoste.
Then in 2006, Ava was born. That wasn't as hard as everyone says it is, in fact, I found it to be really easy. But then again, I didn't have to do a whole lot.
This is one of my favorite pictures of Ava and I in New York.
I wanted to start posting some pictures to let everyone know what else I've been doing. The way I see it, technically it all falls under the "art of r.goto" So, here it goes. Andrea and I got married back in 2000.

This is my illustration for the new San Diego book. One of the themes is the 75th anniversary of the original King Kong.

Here is a team design I've been playing with. I decided they need a logo to really make them corporate. I picture them as working for some rich philanthropist. Like Thunderbirds but without strings and those freaky real human hands.

Just a few pages from the ol' sketch-book.
This was a demo I did for my Life Drawing Class. First we worked with the model. Then we worked on a tracing paper overlay and a skeleton to try and identify the major landmarks. I only did the head, the students worked full figure.
This is a pin-up I did for this year's San Diego Comic-Con program celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Space Ghost. I love the designs that Alex Toth did for all those old shows.
I am a cartoonist and illustrator, currently teaching at the Savannah College of Art and Design. A former tennis pro, I did my undergraduate degree in Illustration and Graphic Design. My Masters Degree is in Sequential Art. That's right, I have an MFA in comics. I'm married and have a beautiful wife. Our daughter, Ava, was born on Feb. 1, 2006.
