I needed a place to work this summer while visiting my parents in Seattle, so I put together a make-shift studio space in their house. I found this drawing table at a garage sale for $20. No kidding. It is now my favorite desk. The table tilts from horizontal to perpendicular, making it usable as an easel, regular flat table, and everything in between. It has a foot pedal with a heavy lead counter-weight inside the base, so that when you step on it, you raise or lower the table top. I spent most of the summer drawing Wonder Woman for a project that didn't develop, but it was good practice anyway.
